From the start of the day girls felt like
princesses being pampered, I also felt very
special, Julie helped with all aspects of my
beautiful day, from dressing my hair to
applying my make up in a professional calm
manner, keeping me relax throughout, helping
to dress the brides maids & also myself. The
hair & make up lasted through to the end of
the evening, and with five little cheeky
princesses that was pretty amazing.
I
first used Julie for hair and make-up a few
years ago when I had some professional portrait
photos taken, I was so impressed with the results
and service that I contacted Julie and asked her
to do the hair and make-up for my wedding. Yet
again I could not have been happier.

Before the wedding day Julie and I met a
number of times to talk about how the hair
and make-up was going to be done. Julie was
really helpful with her suggestions and
often phoned after we met to talk
over
more ideas. We tried out different styles
and colours of make up and thought about how
my hair would look. At another meeting Julie
asked me to bring the jewellery and hair
accessories I would be using on the day so
we could try out a number of different
styles. Julie also asked to see the
bridesmaid’s dresses to help her to decide
the colour of the make up and which
hairstyle would be set fort he bridesmaids.
Once she had tried out a certain type or
style of make up she took us out into
daylight so we could see what it would look
like in natural light. All this showed me
that she is extremely knowledgeable about
what she does and is only interested in
making the people she works with look their
best.
On the day Julie carried on being
supportive. She had a clear plan of how the
morning would go, which relaxed us all. The
Rescue Remedy she came prepared with also
helped, especially with my Mum. Julie’s
friendly approach also helped ease any
nerves. As she worked she chatted with us to
take our mind off the big day, and as well
as doing our hair and make up she helped us
with our dresses and me with my veil. She
was lovely with my youngest bridesmaid and
made her feel really special when doing her
hair and giving her a little bit of make up.
She helped everybody to feel calm and
relaxed which made the world of difference
on a nerve wracking day!
